Key responsibilities

Prepare quarterly financial reports, management accounts and reporting schedules for the Group and subsidiaries
Assist in preparing Board and Management reporting packs and financial analysis
Monitor project costs, development expenditure, project profitability and cash flow
Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, highlighting key financial risks and trends
Support month-end and year-end closing, consolidation and statutory reporting
Liaise with auditors, tax agents and professional advisers as required
Ensure financial reporting complies with MFRS/IFRS, Group policies and applicable regulatory requirements
Work closely with Project, QS, Procurement and Operations teams on cost control and project financial performance
Support improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting efficiency

5 years of relevant experience, preferably in property development, construction or a listed company
Good knowledge of financial reporting, MFRS/IFRS and accounting principles
Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with quarterly reporting and Bursa Malaysia requirements is an advantage
Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively
