 Job Description
  • 1. Full Set Accounts – Manage and maintain full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.
    2. Monthly Closings – Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
    3. Audit & Tax Compliance – Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    4. Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in budget preparation, cash flow projections and variance analysis.
    5. Accounts Review – Monitor and verify accounting transactions, journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
    6. Team Supervision – Guide and review work of junior accounts staff; ensure timely submissions.
    7. System & Process Improvement – Propose and implement improvements for accounting systems and internal controls.
    8. Liaison – Communicate with internal departments, banks, and external stakeholders for financial matters.
    9. Perform any duties assigned by superior of the management from time to time.
 Skill Requirement
  • 1. Accounting Knowledge – Strong understanding of full set of accounts, tax, and audit processes.
    2. Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze financial data, spot errors, and propose solutions.
    3. Attention to Detail – High accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
    4. Software Proficiency – Skilled in accounting systems (e.g. SQL, UBS, AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel.
    5. Time Management – Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
    6. Problem-Solving – Quick in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
    7. Communication Skills – Able to communicate clearly with internal teams, auditors, and external parties.
    8. Team Leadership – Capable of guiding junior staff and working as part of a team.
    9. Confidentiality – Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data.
    10. Knowledge of Financial Regulations – Familiarity with Malaysian financial regulations, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax.
 Qualication / Certification Requirement
  • 1. Education:
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage.

    2. Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years working experience in accounting or related field.
  • Experience handling full set of accounts.

    3. Skills:
  • Proficient in accounting software (SQL, UBS, AutoCount, etc.).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
