 Job Description
  • 1. Contract Administration & Management:
    • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, subcontracts, procurement agreements, and service level agreements.
    • Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
    • Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract database, tracking key dates, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
    • Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation, negotiation, execution, amendment, renewal, and termination.
    2. Risk Assessment & Compliance:
    • Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard company interests.
    • Ensure contracts align with project budgets, schedules, and risk profiles.
    • Conduct regular contract audits to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and highlight potential liabilities.
    • Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory compliance matters related to contract execution.
    3. Claims & Dispute Resolution:
    • Lead the resolution of contract disputes, claims, and variations in collaboration with legal teams and external counsel.
    • Manage contract-related disputes effectively to minimize financial and reputational risks.
    • Prepare documentation and represent the company in dispute resolution proceedings, arbitration, or litigation if necessary.
    4. Stakeholder & Supplier Management:
    • Establish strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with project managers, finance, procurement, and legal teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
    5. Financial & Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor project progress to ensure contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables are met.
    • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to manage contract budgets and cost control measures.
    • Develop reports on contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    6. Regulatory & Industry Updates:
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes, market trends, and best practices affecting contract law and construction project management.
    • Recommend necessary adjustments to contract templates and policies to reflect industry developments.

    7. Other duties as assigned by your superior or the Management from time to time.
 Skill Requirement
  • -Knowledge of standard forms of contract and construction practices
    -Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
    -Proficient in MS Office and QS-related software
 Qualication / Certification Requirement
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
    At least 5 years of assistant contract manager experience in construction or property development
