 Job Description
  • Leadership
    Lead the Contract Department, providing direction across Quantity Surveying and commercial activities.
    Provide strategic contractual and commercial advice to senior management and project teams.
    Strengthen contract management processes, controls and governance to protect the company’s commercial interests.

    Contract & Commercial Management
    Oversee main contracts, subcontracts and consultancy agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
    Lead the management of variations, claims, EOT, loss & expense and final accounts.
    Identify contractual and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
    Ensure proper contract administration, documentation and compliance.

    Quantity Surveying & Cost Management
    Oversee cost planning, budgeting, tender documentation, cost control and commercial reporting.
    Review Bills of Quantities, tender evaluations, contractor submissions and project costs.
    Drive value engineering and cost optimisation while maintaining quality and project objectives.
    Monitor project costs, commitments, variations and final accounts against approved budgets.

    Tender & Procurement
    Lead the commercial aspects of tendering, contractor evaluation and procurement.
    Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and best value.
    Ensure procurement decisions align with approved budgets and commercial objectives.

    Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    Lead, coach and develop the team setting clear KPIs and performance standards.
    Work closely with relevant internal departments on key contractual and commercial matters.
    Represent the Contract Department in negotiations with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
    Prepare and present key contract, cost and commercial reports to senior management.
 Skill Requirement
  • Brings at least 10 years of solid Quantity Surveying experience, with strong exposure to contract and commercial management.
    Has strong knowledge of contracts, tendering, cost control, variations, claims, EOT and final accounts.
    Is confident in negotiation, commercial analysis and stakeholder management.
    Can lead, coach and develop a professional QS team.
    Thinks commercially, spots risks early and looks for opportunities to improve cost and value.
    Communicates confidently with senior management, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
    Is hands-on, decisive, detail-oriented and results-driven.
 Qualication / Certification Requirement
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
